A small walled courtyard of half-timbered houses right by the Königstor, home to craft workshops and shops. Important for planning: the Handwerkerhof is <strong>not a Christmas market</strong> — it is open all year, and it is closed on exactly the days you might want it: Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Epiphany and Good Friday. It does work well as a stop on the walk from the main station into the old town.
